‘4 Hour Work Week’ a hoax?

Filed Under (How to make money blogging) by shaners on 18-04-2009

I’m in the middle of reading this book you may have heard of…

It’s called “The 4-Hour Workweek” and it’s written by a 30-year-old millionaire named Timothy Ferriss — and this sucker has been flying off the shelves from coast to coast.

The book’s philosophy essentially boils down to this…

If you manage your time, your goals, and your priorities effectively, it’s totally possible for you to generate a comfortable, full-time income working just 4 hours per week.

Say goodbye to your 9-to-5 job, and hello freedom and prosperity!

But since releasing it, Tim Ferriss has come under some serious fire from prominent entrepreneurs who say that designing your ‘ideal lifestyle’ of minimal work and maximum play is not that simple… that it
takes YEARS of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears to makethat happen.

But I beg to differ!

I’ve know many people who have started their own money making Internet businesses from scratch. (In fact, I count myself among their number!)

And I can tell you this without a shadow of a doubt:

The success people like us have achieved did NOT come as a  result of how much time we’ve spent working on our businesses, but what we’ve DONE with the time we’ve spent.

For example: Someone with clear, intentional goals and a step-by-step action plan will accomplish wayyyyy more in 60 minutes than someone who is mired in information overload and analysis paralysis will accomplish in 8 hours.

I’ve seen high school drop outs, retirees who are downright scared of computers, and even teenagers achieve *massive* success on the Internet ‘working’ as little as 4 hours per week… and in some cases, even less than that!

It’s possible — I’ve seen it, I’ve done it, and I’d like you to do it, too.

P.S. Here’s another secret for you…

You don’t have to know it all, learn it all, or spend days at a time researching your next step to generate a full-time income on the Internet. You simply need to surround yourself with people who have the expertise that you don’t, and let them steer you along towards success.

But where can you find such experts willing to openly share their expertise and stand over your shoulder as you grow your own moneymaking website? Click here now to find out

What’s your problem? Lack of a plan?

Filed Under (How to make money blogging) by shaners on 02-02-2009

Right now — I’m about to share probably one of the simplest, yet deepest, insights with you.

And I can say honestly that from talking to friends and family that alot of people are waiting for the economy to do something before they do. Thats just crazy talk.

In short they have no plan. And are dependant on their jobs to get them through the “recession”.

The blog world is full of people talking plans and back plans and what to do. Why because people are freaked out and scared and it boils down to a few things for sure, but namely people have no plan. No other source of income other than a job.

If you want to become successful in whatever market you enter and literally assure your success before-

hand (well, no one can really assure you of that), then here’s what you’ve got to do.

Be a problem solver.

In fact, become obsessed with solving problems — especially the most nagging problems.

Here’s why…

What happens when something is nagging you?

Exactly!

You go find something (anything) to solve it NOW.

I’m sure you would agree that…

A nagging situation is like a frustrating, annoying situation that bugs at you until it’s gone.

Well — same thing here — if you look for a group of people that have a nagging, annoying,
frustrating and itching problem, these are THE best type of people who are willing to exchange
money in order to get hold of an information product or some service to solve that problem.

Does this make sense?  Good!

Well — rather than wasting your time looking at niche marketing tools or keyword tools or keyword
research that doesn’t solve the question of “What problem does it solve” — all you have to
do is this…

Ask yourself the question about a specific product or service you want to start.

Don’t let fear of the recession guide your goal setting plans for 2009. This is a BIG mistake…!

Fear is an emotional response, only good for short-term survival.

When you’re in “fight or flight” mode, you’re not thinking clearly about the path you’re running… You’re just RUNNING! So your efforts lack strategy, planning, and insight.

I want you to do more than just survive 2009.

Internet shopping is predicted to hit $145.1 Billion in the coming year, a significant 14% increase — despite the recession!

Consumers will be spending more time at home, using their computers for everything from bargain hunting and product research to upgrading skills.

Studies show this shift is ALREADY well underway…!

I don’t want the Big “R” to stop you from pursuing exciting personal, financial, and business goals in 2009, so I’ve arranged to get you exclusive VIP access to an important video that Internet marketing guru Derek Gehl just put up on his site.

Derek’s been successfully selling on the Internet for over a decade now, and he’s brought in over $100 MILLION in sales…

… so he’s by far the BEST person to advise you about how to thrive in ANY market.

When you watch his FREE Goal Setting Video, you’ll discover how you can make 2009 your richest year yet:

Wishing you health, wealth, and happiness in 2009!
