Joel Comm’s AdSense Secrets 4.0 is’nt being honest

As per usual there’s another IM JV party happening in my in box.
This time it was AdSense secrets 4.0, by Joel Comm. If you dont who he is good on you. He’s the author of the AdSense secrets e-book. No link to be given to this book.
So anyways I opened the email crappola as I always do to entertain my self. Read the cut and paste email that is always handed about by these sham artist marketers. And though I would click through to the sales page for AdSense Secrets 4.0. You know the usual make a bajillion over night kinda crap. With pretty pictures and testimonials. So then I clicked through to the order page figuring something might be up, seriously why wold joel comm be selling a 9.95 AdSense e-book??? and then the catch became very obvious, now this is very underhanded.
He’s telling you on the order page that what you’re getting is a 29.95 /month subscription to his newsletter. First off if he were going to do that I wouldn’t have a problem but say it on the sales page. BUT OH NO can’t be upfront and honest huh.
So I scrolled down the order page and saw the cancel button clicked it and guess what??? it takes you to the order page for the 9.95 AdSense Secrest 4.0 e-book.
Pretty scammy in my mind.
So what I did was go to his Blog and asked him this question:
I’m curious how he will respond. If he even does.

i called their office today.
They mails you the newsletter before you are billed. You also get a bonus CD every month and a membership in private member site.
The newsletter has a reminder stuck to the front of it so that you don’t forget to cancel if you don’t want it.
Direct mail industry has done these things for years…i appreciate how Joel is going above and beyond to give us time to opt-out before we are billed.
Hey Barbara, thanks for commenting. Let me ask you this? Do you really think you have or should have to call their office to figure out what the details are. I DONT THINK SO. If he is going to sell you a subscription to his newsletter he should out right say it on the sales page. Not wait until you reach the order page and then have you wonder how you get the book and all the other BS you obviously had to go through. Good on you for calling his office though!!
This tactic of his is underhanded and deceitful. He’s selling you a god damned 9 dollar e-book. Why no just create an OTO for the membership site and newsletter.
