Make money blogging in the Killing rats Niche
Use micro niche finder to uncover killer niches
SO I thought that after the last post tips for finding a blog niche that I should offer you a little glimpse into the rat niche.
Just to give you a little idea about how every day events might lead you to something you might want to check out.
Ya maybe I have blog on the brain I call it the entrepreneurial spirit. You know how it is, find a need fill a need. Isnt that our jobs as marketers and bloggers. Helping people get through something or over something or around something.
No matter what niche you go into, you’re basically solving a problem or asking someone to make choice. Read on or click that ad, or click the red X don’t do that actually I might get upset.
Seriously. There are plenty of ways to find niches and this is something I love to do. I don’t know why but for some reason when people are talking I’m making mental notes. People will generally talk about things that interest them or they might interested in, or some problem that theyre trying to overcome.
For instance when I’m with the guys on darts night it’s usually a little shop talk then after a few beers are had its usually onto to cars and women. Interesting thing about the cars thing is that usually we’re talking about cars we can’t afford but make us drool.
Theres another idea for you to think about what would you love to have and makes you drool but cant afford to get. If you’re not sure ask a buddy what you’re always talking about. They’ll look at you weird but they’ll know, especially if you drone on obsessively about it.
Like I do during hockey season, I talk about little else. Oh did I mention I play road hockey with the guys, did you also know I ran it through Microniche finder and am just about to launch a road hockey site as a result. Did I mention I love microniche finder, well I do
Getting back to the orignal idea. I for one love helicopters and porsche 928’s I havent reay checked out those areas but theyre on my niche hit list
Just today actually I was chatting it up with my girlfriend and she asked me whats the best deal on an lcd tv? Seems like she is wanting another one for the house. We already have one !! Go figure. At any rate I had my blogging ears open.
Hmmm best deal huh ( you know what’s coming dont you? yeah you guessed it another video)

I talk to people everyday that say they don’t have anything to blog about, but boy if you were to record them over a beer!
Finding niches are a lot easier than what people think that they are but a lot of blogs fail because they don’t use the niche properly. I have been following along with Aaron at fulltiltblogging.com and have learned a lot about niches and how to integrate them into a blog for a better outcome. Your blog post made me think of him. I truly enjoyed this post since it offered a little bit on the topic of niches and it had a sense of humor to go with it.
Hey Gajemaster, You’re following along with Aaron too, very cool. Ive gotten alot out of his free mentoring program as well, using it in a few other niches I’m in right now.
I’m glad you both see the humour in this post and maybe the last one as well because, well whats funny about it is it is really just true, sometime the they make for the most humourous of things huh. I think that alot of the time people get really stuck and over analyze the niche finding thing. Sometime a good thing to do is to start with what you know about and work on finding other niches in the mean time. Anything is better than doing nothing even if it isnt working all that well. Heck it even allows you to hone your writing skills.
Thanks for popping in both of you or de-lurking
Good stuff Shane! I agree, as long as you listen and pay attention, you can uncover many multiple niches…and emotion is a great one, as people will spend or search frantically for things like this.
mmm a kill rats niche?
would you get enough repeating visits for that topic? I would imagine that people search for that kind of thing once in their life and then move on when they got rid of the problem.
I wouldn’t get involved in something like that — or know that it would be a very long-term effort.
