Keyword Research Tools
There are more keyword research tools than I care to think about. While alot of them are good , it pays to keep in mind that no-one of them is “The Best”. They all provide great keyword information from counts to other phrases and loads of other things.
Typically what I do when I have one of my whacky niche ideas is to load up Microniche Finder and key in the phrase that I’m interested in researching. Micro Niche finder makes its easy it provides dozens of longtail keywords which appear right at your finger tips. Complete with search counts and competition. Honestly it takes the guess work right out of the equation. I’m a bit lazy and like to decide on niches quickly without having to do any head scratching, or chewing on doubts as to whether or not this phrase or that phrase is a good one or not. Just type a phrase or keyword into the search bar and 5 seconds later you’re in business buying a kewrd rich domain name or writing a great review, blog post that you know is going to get results.
Here are just a few of the other Keyword Tools that I can remember off the top of my head…
- Wordtracker (paid)
- Free Wordtracker Tool
- Overture Keyword Selector Tool (this tool barely works anymore)
- SEO Book Keyword List Generator
- Keyword Elite (paid)
- Keyword Companion(paid) [Ed: I no longer recommend this tool. Don’t get it.]
