How many Facebook friends have you got? I was curious about how to use Facebook to make money and create traffic. To be honest Ive been really interested in using Facebook as a social networking tool. One of the things I have noticed about Facebook is the “notes application” What this allows you to do is to include your Rss feeds from your blog.

How you drive traffic to your blog using the notes application is by including your Rss feed. This has a few benefits not only does it allow your friends to track what you’re doing on your blog but it also beefs up your Feedburner count.  Currently I have 65 Facebook friends. Each time one of my friends logs into their facebook account, that would also mean 65 Rss readers Why because Facebook is using my Feedburner feed to display my “notes”.

Now can see all the possibilities?

Lets say you want more newsletter traffic or sign ups or want to distribute the viral e-book of yours. You have that added capability and higher traffic exposure all because of facebook notes And Your Rss Feed.

Another thing that really spun my head off this week when I logged into facebook was having been greeted by an invitation to another very cool facebook application called Blog friends

Again this another Rss feed type tool only with the added bonus that it spreads outside of your network. Whats also very cool about it is that lets you see what other bloggers are posting about out there. SO lets say you posted something to your blog, and a friend of yours has blog friends on his facebook account well then your feed goes on his blog and any other of his friends that are connected to him with the blog friends app also installed.  Basically it lets you see what your friends friends and their are posting. AND Vice-versa. Again like facebook notes each time a feed is accessed by one of your friends your feed count goes up.

So what do I suggest you do now? You got it go get friends on facebook!!
